Abkhazian Government Chair meets French Ambassador

The Chair of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Giorgi Jincharadze, has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Georgia, Olivier Courteaud, the Administration of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia reported.

According to the agency, during the meeting, the Chair outlined the ongoing activities of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and briefed the Ambassador on the core challenges facing the internally displaced population (IDPs) from Abkhazia.

Giorgi Jincharadze drew particular attention to instances of fundamental human rights violations within the occupied territories. The discussion also touched upon the Geneva International Discussions. Both parties explored opportunities to deepen cooperation across various priority areas.
