“Georgia’s path to the European Union runs through Abkhazia,” declared Levan Mgaloblishvili, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, during an introductory meeting with Anna Maria Siko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Georgia.
The meeting addressed potential future collaboration across diverse sectors. Levan Mgaloblishvili briefed the Ambassador on the Abkhazian government’s activities, underscoring the significance of the nation’s peace policy and the integration of the Abkhazian issue into the broader process.
“I met for the first time with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary, our strategic partner. I reaffirmed our primary objective to join the European Union together with our Abkhaz sisters and brothers, preserving our dignity, customs, and traditions. Georgia’s path to the European Union, undoubtedly, runs through Abkhazia,” stated Levan Mgaloblishvili.
The Ambassador reaffirmed the Hungarian government’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Furthermore, she conveyed unequivocal support for the nation’s pursuit of a European future.
Levan Mgaloblishvili expressed his gratitude to Anna Maria Siko for Hungary’s steadfast support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and the solidarity demonstrated towards Georgia.
