The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Levan Mgaloblishvili, met with the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, Zhou Qian.

At the introductory meeting, Levan Mgaloblishvili thanked the Chinese diplomat for supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and provided information about the activities of the government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. He also briefed him on the situation in the occupied territory of Abkhazia and discussed the main challenges facing the local population.

The parties confirmed their firm support and mutual respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia and China.

The meeting participants discussed issues of future cooperation in healthcare, education, economy, and culture within the framework of the strategic partnership.
