In Russia, 13,868 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded during the day. Over the entire period of the epidemic in the country, coronavirus was detected in 1,326,178 people – according to the operational headquarters to combat COVID-19.

“Over the past 24 hours in Russia, there have been 13,868 confirmed cases of new coronavirus infection COVID-19 in 85 regions, including 3892 (28.1%) actively detected without clinical manifestations,” the message said.

The day before, 13,592 cases were identified. Infectious disease specialist, virologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences Nikolai Malyshev, in an interview with the NSN, assessed the situation with COVID-19, as reported by Russian media.
