A total of 1260 Georgian citizens applied to Sweden with the request to grant the asylum in 2018 and only five applications were satisfied. The date is available on the website of Immigration Service.
Less than one percent of the applications were satisfied, such a low percentage rate is not fixed in case of any other country.
In total, Sweden has reviewed 35 512 applications of asylum seekers last year, and 32 percent of applications was satisfied.
