Vakhtang Gomelauri, Ioseb Gogashvili questioned into Temirlan Machalikashvili’s case

Vakhtang Gomelauri, former head of State Security Service and current Minister of Internal Affairs and Ioseb Gogashvili, former deputy head of State Security Service were questioned at General Prosecutor’s Office into the death case of Temirlan Machalikashvili, a 19-year-old youth killed during the special operation in Pankisi Gorge.

“All investigation activities will be carried out in order to determine the truth into Temirlan Machalikashvili’s case,” General Prosecutor’s Office told Georgian First Channel.

Temirlan Machalikashvili, 19, was fatally wounded in his head during the National Security Service’s special operation in Duisi village of Pankisi Gorge on December 26, 2017.
