It is a very good sign that political parties are working together again and trying to find the way out – U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan told journalists before entering the residence of EU Ambassador.

According to Degnan, it is up to Georgian political leaders to decide everything and diplomats are ready to support continuation of a constructive dialog.

 

“It is a very good sign that political parties are working together again and trying to find the way out. This is not an issue to be decided by the U.S. or European Union. It is up to Georgian political leaders to decide and we are doing work in finding the way out,” Degnan said.

An individual meeting with representatives of oppositional parties is ongoing at the residence of Carl Hartzell, EU Ambassador to Georgia.
