Georgia is an important county since it is located on the crossroad of Europe and Asia – said Mircea Ciopraga, Secretary-General of Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor (TRACECA).

TRACECA Secretary-General is visiting Georgia within the framework of Tbilisi Silk Road Forum. “The forum is important for TRACECA, for connecting China and Europe. The forum will help the business to ensure easy transit of products for doing business and progress of the country,” Ciopraga said.

Georgia’s capital will be hosting Tbilisi Silk Road Forum on October 22-23. Representatives of more than 2 000 delegates from 60 countries including 400 representatives of foreign private sectors of more than 30 official delegations are attending the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum this year.
