At the last day of Natsu Basho tournament, Georgian Sumo wrestler Levan Gorgadze (known in the sumo community as Tochinoshin) defeated No. 5 maegashira  Ikioi. Tochinoshin faced his rival with the injured right wrist.

During the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament Levan Gorgadze has 13 wins and 2 losses.
