Resolution of Silence – Abkhazia  is the title of a photo exhibition to be hosted by National Museum of Georgia from September 27 to October 7.

French Photographer Aurélien Villette will bring his photos for display to Tbilisi. Euro Art Fund (Georgia) and Art Eco (Netherlands) will hold the exhibition together with Georgian and foreign partners.

On the day of opening of the photo exhibition, 25 years ago, about 250 thousand people were forced to leave Abkhazia’s territory. According to organizers, Georgian public remember Abkhazia as being a beautiful region where people traveled to rest and be charged with positive mood.

The French photographer gives the chance to the public to remember the places. Aurélien Villette visited Abkhazia in 2016. First Channel obtained the unique photos in April of 2018. Journalist Ketevan Kardava had an exclusive interview with the photographer.

The main partners of the project are Government of Abkhazian Autonomous Republic, French Embassy in Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall and National Museum of Georgia.
