Police apprehend 11 people in Batumi

Following the clash with law enforcers, 11 people were detained for disobeying a lawful order of the police (Article 173) in Batumi on Saturday.

Among the detainees, two released later, one of them was the NGO Alternative Chair Khatuna Beridze.

The opposition United National Movement supporters rallied in Tbilisi and Batumi on February 6. They protested against the nationwide curfew.

Earlier, the nationwide curfew (21:00 to 05:00) prolonged to March 1.
