Civil activists rally in Tbilisi

Civil activists are holding a protest rally under the name ” I am coming” at First Republic Square. According to the organizers, the rally’s main slogan is “No to war!”, “Peace to our country!”

They claim “today’s protest is apolitical and expresses public concern over polarization, the risks of developing a revolutionary scenario in the country, and anti-state actions.”

Khatuna Khoferia, one of the protesters, said a plebiscite should be held before important issues are brought to the legislative body. This issue will be discussed at the rally today, according to her.

A letter summarizing public opinion will be written after the rally.
