Officer of Special Squad wounded during special operation undergoes surgery

One officer of Special Squad, who was injured during a special operation ongoing at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi, underwent through a surgery. He was wounded in his head area and is placed at Ingorokva Clinic. His health condition is critical.

Shooting and several explosions were heard at the street last night. Law enforcers asked locals to vacate the block of apartments where special operation is underway.

The territory is abridged. Crews of Patrol Police and officers of Counter-Terrorism Department of State Security Service remain at site.
