Out of 294 new coronavirus cases, 193 are linked to Adjara, 43 to Tbilisi, 16 to Guria, 14 to Imereti, 11 to Samegrelo Zemo-Svaneti, two to Kakheti, five to Samtskhe-Javakheti, five to Kvemo Kartli, four to Shida Kartli, and one more to Mtskheta-Mtianeti, said Marina Endeladze, the director of the boxed ward of the Infectious Diseases Hospital.

Marina Endeladze noted that, at this stage, out of 3 348 coronavirus patients, 20 are in a critical state.

Georgia has reported 294 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 5 254, according to stopcov.ge.

87 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of recoveries to 1 906.

The country’s COVID-19-related death toll stands at 27.
