Out of 25 new cases of coronavirus, 17 recorded in Mestia

Among 25 new cases of coronavirus, 17 were detected in Mestia municipality, said Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Nino Vibliani.

The family in the village of Lenjeri received an infected guest and 17 individuals contracted the virus from the guest, noted Vibliani.

37 contacts of infected people have already been identified. The studied are underway.

Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti added that the lockdown of Mestia depends on the results of epidemiological studies.

25 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia today, increasing the total number of infected people to 1250.

10 more patients have recovered from the novel virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cured patients up to 1010.
