Natia Turnava: Wizz Air presumes to restore its base in Georgia in spring

Wizz Air sees a positive dynamic in the development of our economy and says that the base will most likely be restored in the spring, – the Minister of Economy of Georgia, Natia Turnava told reporters after the government session.

According to the Minister, Wizz Air had to reduce its bases and stop flights due to the epidemic, but now it is still considering the restoration of the base in Georgia.

“One good news. The airlines are optimistic about the future flight prospects in Georgia, the prospects for the restoration of tourism. Of course, this will not happen instantly. This will happen in stages. Wizz Air presumes that it will restore the base in Georgia in the spring, as it sees a positive dynamic in the development of our economy and says the base is likely to be restored here in the spring”, – Turnava said.
