Environment Agency predicts rain across Georgia

The National Environment Agency predicts that Georgia will experience continuous rain from the end of May 6 to the second half of May 7.

In some regions of eastern Georgia, heavy snow may occur in high mountain areas.

“The anticipated precipitation could lead to an increase in water levels in the rivers of Georgia, potential flooding in small rivers in eastern Georgia, and landslides and mudslides in hilly and mountainous regions,” the agency noted.
