Georgia-US relations are on the highest level and we are proud of it – Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said when visiting the American ship USS Ross docked in Batumi port of Adjara region.

Georgian PM and Ross Wilson, acting US Ambassador to Georgia were hosted on the ship. “Security of the Black Sea region is a priority of the international community. Our message to our friends has always been clear – Sustainable security of Trans-Atlantic states is impossible without the security of the Black Sea region,” Bakhtadze said.

The USS Ross entered Batumi port on April 21. Members of the crew will carry out joint training together with Georgian colleagues on April 25.
