Kostaoba marked in Areshperan village

Kostaoba was marked in Areshperan village of Lagodekhi Municipality in connection with the 160th jubilee of Ossetian writer and public figure Kosta Khetagurov.

Heads of South Ossetian administration and guests from North Ossetia attended the activity. Local ensembles gave a concert and horse-racing and competition in wrestling were held within the framework of the public celebration. The guests also had the opportunity to taste Georgian and Ossetian dishes.

The monument to the Ossetian writer and public figure, Kosta Khetagurov, was erected in 1959 in the village Areshperan, Lagodekhi, in the eastern Kakheti region of Georgia.
