Gov't: No full lockdown planned in Georgia as maintaining jobs remains one of our top priorities
Government economic team and the restaurant business representatives discussed additional measures to curb the virus at today’s meeting.
As the Press Service of the Government Administration said, the meeting was focused on the country’s current epidemiological situation and the challenges regarding compliance with the rules in the business sector amid pandemic.
The meeting attendees pointed out that, at this stage, a full lockdown is not considered as maintaining jobs remains one of the government’s top priorities.
The meeting was attended by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili, Minister of Finance Ivane Machavariani and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.
