Georgian canoeist wins Canoe Sprint World Championships

Georgian canoeist Zaza Nadiradze has won the Canoe Sprint World Championships in Poland. He won in the 200-meter sprint race, finishing with a time of 39.191 seconds. The second place went to Kazakhstan, the third – to Belarus.

In 2018, Canoer Zaza Nadiradze became the first athlete from Georgia to win the Canoe Sprint European Championships, after finishing first in a race in Belgrade, Serbia. Nadiradze claimed his win in the 200-meter sprint race on Sunday, finishing with a time of 39.2 seconds.
