Georgia to receive new Package of Support from NATO

NATO has the commitment to take Georgia and Ukraine as members of the alliance in the future — Kay Bailey Hutchison, United States Permanent Representative to NATO said.

According to Hutchison, Russia has to give the right to Georgia and Ukraine to have their sovereign governance.

She said that both countries had to continue carrying out of reforms to handle the Russian misinformation campaign and resist to borderization on their territories.

“These countries have to control their sovereign territories and borders. We are committed to help Georgia and Ukraine to continue responding to the Russian aggression following which they lost parts of their territories.

We will continue making efforts. NATO’s door remains open and accession of North Macedonia as NATO ally is an example. We support our partners – Georgia and Ukraine. We will give them the Package of Support that will be discussed as part of the NATO Foreign Ministerial on April 2, and I am sure NATO ministers will approve it,” Hutchison said.
