Georgia reports 4 570 coronavirus cases, 3 045 recoveries, 43 deaths

Georgia reported 4 570 coronavirus cases, 3 045 recoveries, and 43 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 178 953, among them 148 332 people recovered and 1 657 died.

There are 1 019 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 918 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 3 524 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are cured at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 2 067 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 708 cases, and Adjara – 331 cases, – said Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council.
