Georgia reported 355 coronavirus cases, 91 recoveries, and 4 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 176 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 48 cases and the Shida Kartli region with 30 cases.
A total of 19 737 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 12 307 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7 430 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1.8 %, while 1.6 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 272 617, among them 266 344 people recovered and 3 567 died.
There are 312 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 387 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 142 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
