Georgia reported 15,315 coronavirus cases, 10,894 recoveries, and 55 deaths on February 16, the official figures show.
50,058 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 31,794 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 18,264 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 30,59%, while 31,51% in the past week.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1,496,156 among them, 1,300,062 people recovered, and 15,683 died.
There are 10 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 5,974 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,261 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
As of today, 2,783,856 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 3,560 in a day.
