Georgia reported 1 006 coronavirus cases, 1 050 recoveries, and 25 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 426 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 202 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 98 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 254 822, among them 244 446 people recovered and 3 096 died.

There are 490 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3 069 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 353 are placed at Covid Hotels.
