Armenia reports 259 new COVID-19 cases, 542 recoveries

Armenia has reported 259 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infected persons to 38,196.

According to the data of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 542 patients have recovered, bringing the total to 28,366.

Five patients have died in the past 24 hours. The death toll has reached 728, another 225 patients with coronavirus have died because of other diseases.

The number of active cases is 8,877. The results of 1,115 tests have been negative, as reported by Public Radio of Armenia.
