A woman rescues koala from Australian bushfire (VIDEO)

An Australian woman rescued a badly burnt koala from an Australian bushfire. As she told the local reporters she spotted koala crossing a road amongst the flames, instantly rushed to the koala’s aid, wrapped the animal in a blanket and poured water over it.

Over 350 koalas are feared to have died in the bushfires, and 31 have been brought to the hospital to be treated.

The current bushfire crisis has mostly been contained to the east coast of NSW and Queensland states. The bushfires have killed at least four people, burnt 2.5 million acres of land and destroyed over 300 homes.
