19 404 new cases of coronavirus detected in Russia

The number of cases of COVID-19 in Russia went up by 19 404 in the previous 24 hours.

The death toll from the illness rose by 292 in the same period, bringing the death toll from the coronavirus to a total of 28 996 fatalities.

The official figures also showed since the outbreak,  1 680 579 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the country.
