Zurab Pololikashvili – A beautiful country having rich history and culture will host you

A beautiful country, having rich history and culture, will host you – Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) told the organization members after he thanked them for supporting the idea to hold the sitting of Executive Committee of WTO in Georgia in 2020.

Pololikashvili said that Georgia had vast potential for tourism development. “The reforms carried out in Georgia helped the country to secure its place on the world map,” he said.

Executive Committee consisting of 35 member states holds sittings twice a year. This year, meetings were held in Baku and Saint Petersburg. Georgia will host the meeting for the first time.
