Georgia and Ukraine are parts of the Western world – Wess Mitchell, US Assistant Secretary of State, claimed.
Mitchell gave a speech at the Heritage Foundation in Washington within the framework of program: “Transatlantic Connections” dedicated to the vision of Donald Trump Administration about US-Europe relations.
“We should consider west as the commonwealth of democratic states united by history, culture. . . There are strong and weak states, some of them are members of NATO. Georgia and Ukraine are parts of the west both with history and choice of their population,” Mitchell stated.
