The National Environmental Agency has released its weather forecast for Georgia from December 2 to 4.

On December 2, rain is expected nationwide, with thunderstorms in some areas and strong winds possible. Snow is forecasted in the high mountains. From December 3 onwards, the weather is expected to become predominantly dry.

In Tbilisi, light rain is forecast for December 2 and 4, with dry conditions on December 3. Daytime temperatures will range between +10°C and +12°C.

Coastal regions, such as Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti, will experience rain, wind, and stormy weather on December 2, clearing from December 3. Temperatures will be between +14°C and +16°C.

In the lowland areas of Western Georgia, Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti, and Poti, rain is expected on December 2, with clearer skies returning from December 3. Daytime temperatures will be between +15°C and +17°C.

The mountainous regions of Western Georgia, Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, and Rikotis Poti, will see rain on December 2, clearing from December 3, with daytime temperatures around +12°C to +14°C.

In the higher mountains of Western Georgia, Mestia and Bakhmaro, snow may fall in some locations on December 2, with conditions clearing from December 3. Temperatures during the day will be between +7°C and +9°C.

In Kartli, including Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali, light rain is anticipated in some areas on December 2 and 4, with dry weather on December 3. Daytime temperatures will range from +11°C to +13°C.

Kakheti, encompassing Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro, will experience similar conditions, with light rain on December 2 and 4, and clear skies on December 3. Temperatures will be between +10°C and +12°C.

Eastern Georgia’s mountainous regions, Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Pasanauri, will see light rain on December 2 and 4, with dry weather on December 3. Temperatures during the day will be around +8°C to +10°C.

In the higher mountains of Eastern Georgia, Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, and Omalo, snowfall is possible on December 2 and 4, with dry conditions on December 3. Daytime temperatures will range from +4°C to +6°C.
