“We do not obey the Constitution that violates ten concepts,” Guram Palavandishvili, a leader of the ultra-conservative anti-Pride group, said at a rally in front of the Kashveti Church.

“They do not have the right to take to the streets and fly flags. We have to oust them. We do not obey the Constitution that violates ten concepts. I wish everyone recovery, but if we want to find a reason, the reason is the violence of journalists against the society,” Palavandishvili said.

Two opposite rallies are underway on Rustaveli Avenue. One group of protesters gathered near the Parliament building, while the other on the opposite side of the road near the Kashveti Church.
