We demand evidence, upholding rules and equality, the Vice Premier says
Thea Tsulukiani, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Culture, echoed the US sanctions against Georgian judges by demanding evidence, abiding by the rules, and equality.
Thulukiani remarked that Georgia is frequently tested by those from the North, South, East, or West, adding “The country is currently fighting the North’s occupation peacefully and legally”.
“It is a test when Moldova and Ukraine, two friendly countries, which lag far behind our nation in terms of development and reform, are placed ahead of Georgia in the EU application process. It is also a test when you tell our country: “I can punish your judge without evidence.” That’s why we ask for evidence, rules, and equality. That was and continues to be the primary goal of Georgians throughout their history, regardless of who their partner, friend, or ally was,” the Vice Premier stated.
