Water Polo: Georgian national team secures European Championship qualification with win over Slovenia #1TVSPORT

The European Water Polo Championship is currently underway in Belgrade, Serbia. The Georgian national team played their final group stage match against Slovenia. With three teams advancing from the group, Slovenia and Georgia were vying for the crucial third qualifying spot.

The Georgians delivered a commanding performance and secured a 22–11 victory. The first half was tightly contested, ending in an 8–8 draw. However, in the third quarter, Georgia took control with a 6–2 run, effectively sealing the outcome.

In the next stage, two groups will be formed, from which the top four teams will face off in the semi-finals.
