Voter turnout for 15:00 reaches 41.62%

As of 15:00, voter turnout in Georgia’s parliamentary elections stands at 41.62%, with a total of 1,454,837 voters casting their ballots, according to the Central Election Commission (CEC).

The percentage distribution by region is as follows: Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 40.46%; Tbilisi – 42.42%; Kakheti – 42.58%; Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 42.86%; Kvemo Kartli – 35.64%; Shida Kartli – 41.72%; Samtskhe-Javakheti – 43.42%; Racha Lechkhumi – 54.17%; Imereti -42.79%; Guria – 43.74%; Adjara – 41.89%.

Comparative turnout figures from previous parliamentary elections show that in 2012, turnout was 44.99%, in 2016 it was 34.79%, and in 2020, it reached 36.45%.

The total number of eligible voters for the October 26 elections is 3,508,294, with 3,044 polling districts established nationwide, including 13 created for exceptional cases—12 in penitentiary institutions and one in a mental health center.
