CEC: Voter turnout 51.92%

1,815,776 citizens, 51.92% of the total number of voters, have cast a ballot in the local elections, according to the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Spokesperson Natia Ioseliani said the voting process took place in a calm environment.
“A total of 366 complaints were submitted to the district election commission, mainly, over procedural shortcomings. The vote-counting process is now underway,” she added.
