Vivamedi: Mzia Amaglobeli continues health monitoring, supportive therapy

Zurab Chkhaidze, Clinical Director of Vivamedi Clinic, reported that Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of the Batumelebi and Netgazeti media outlets, continues to undergo health monitoring and supportive therapy at the clinic.

According to Chkhaidze, Mzia Amaglobeli’s health condition remains stable.

“She complains of overall weakness, but she continues her health monitoring and supportive therapy here at the clinic. Additional laboratory examinations have been conducted, and she has been informed about possible complications. The patient has agreed to continue the monitoring process at the clinic,” he stated.

Mzia Amaglobeli, founder and director of the media outlets Batumelebi and Netgazeti, has been on a hunger strike for a month. The Batumi City Court ordered her imprisonment as a preventive measure on January 14, following her arrest on January 12 under Article 353 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to the assault of a police officer.
