Vice Speaker Volski: Mike Benz holds crucial information, and we cannot accuse him of bias

“Mike Benz is not an ordinary former employee of the State Department. He possesses significant information and is the author of a rather important statement,” stated Gia Volski, First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia.

According to Volsky, we cannot accuse Benz of bias.

“The reality he describes has been repeatedly articulated by us and confirmed by facts. The new American administration scrutinised every cent we monitored, yet it did not yield the outcome the authors of the script anticipated. Unfortunately, the words of a foreign expert of high standing seem more convincing than the reality we witnessed live on air.

The plan was to sacrifice and destroy the country, a plan that still remains in motion. They are directly threatening us with the injection of money bypassing legal channels, organising no less chaos than before. The new American administration has halted the flow of illicit money through USAID and NED. Based on these statements, we remain optimistic that our situation will be assessed objectively, including in Washington,” said Gia Volski.

Former U.S. State Department official Mike Benz, in an interview with former British Prime Minister Liz Truss, said: “By the way, the irony is that just 15 months ago, that very class of EU bureaucrats and financial stakeholders were threatening sanctions on Hungary, Georgia, and three other countries in Europe who wanted those transparency laws.”
