Vice Speaker Tsilosani holds talks with U.S. Congressional Staff delegation visiting Georgia

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Nino Tsilosani met with a delegation of staff from the United States House of Representatives, currently visiting Georgia.

According to the Parliament’s press service, the meeting centred on discussions surrounding bilateral cooperation.

“In an era when our Western partners are facing a great deal of disinformation, this meeting provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly on various issues. Given the format, we couldn’t discuss every detail, but I trust that the information we shared was both necessary and meaningful and will be considered in their decision-making. We mutually agreed that ongoing bilateral cooperation and visits are crucial. We look forward to a future Georgian delegation visiting the United States, which will give us the chance to discuss ways of strengthening Georgian-American relations with congressmen and senators, and to reset our partnership,” Tsilosani stated after the meeting.
