Vice Speaker: Patriarch’s Epistle reflects true values; disinformation in certain media disturbs public harmony

“The Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia’s Epistle promotes human values such as love and mutual understanding,” stated Gia Volski, First Vice-Speaker of Parliament.

He emphasised that the core message of the Epistle is that, even in the most challenging circumstances, people must find ways to communicate and reconcile.

“We can also interpret it from a political perspective, and the key messages are clear. The disinformation propagated by certain sections of the media is what truly disrupts public peace,” Gia Volski remarked.

The Christmas Epistle of Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia highlights that the abuse of freedom of speech is one of the greatest trials, which can only be overcome by those willing to walk the path of truth and forgiveness towards the Lord.
