Vice Speaker, Agriculture Committee Chair participate in World Food Forum 2026

Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Nino Tsilosani, Agriculture Committee Chair Gela Samkharauli and Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Davit Songhulashvili are participating in the World Food Forum 2026 organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

As part of the forum, an event organized by Georgia titled “Georgian Wheat: Tradition for the Future” will be held on October 13, where Nino Tsilosani will deliver a speech. She will familiarize the international audience with the culture of Georgian wheat, including its centuries-old history, traditions and rituals, local varieties, and unique genetic resources.

The goal of the forum is to facilitate the transformation of agrifood systems, develop innovative approaches, and strengthen international cooperation.
