Vice PM Mdinaradze: OSCEPA believed they could wipe Georgia off the map, but our role in Middle Corridor remains irreplaceable

“Georgia will always play a special role and carry out a unique mission in any matter concerning the Middle Corridor; it is a transit country, and it will always hold this historical and geographical mission, which everyone will have to reckon with,” stated Vice Prime Minister and State Minister for Law Enforcement Co-ordination, Mamuka Mdinaradze, during a press briefing at the Government Administration.

As Mamuka Mdinaradze noted, discussing connectivity without Georgia is entirely unimaginable.

“The Middle Corridor, ‘connectivity’, ‘transit corridor’, these are words and terms that succinctly capture a reality of vital importance across various economic, trade, and transit sectors running through Georgia. Admittedly, a few days ago, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly appeared to believe they could wipe Georgia off the map entirely. However, Georgia is where it is, and discussing this sector without us is simply unimaginable. Georgia will always play a special role and carry out a unique mission in any matter concerning the Middle Corridor. In every respect, it is a transit country; it will always hold this historical and geographical mission, and everyone will have to reckon with that fact,” Mamuka Mdinaradze stated.
