Georgian Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili met the filming crew of V is for Vino, the US Award-Winning Wine TV Show.

The team is shooting a TV story about Georgian wines, which will be advertised at the end of the year on the official webpage, social media, cable reach TV, and in over 90 airports across the US.

“The export of Georgian wines has gone up in the last few years. Therefore, conducting marketing campaigns for the US target market is significant to boost awareness of Georgian wines,” the Minister said at the meeting.

In 2024, exports of Georgian wines in the US reached a historical maximum of 1.2 million liters, which is 32% higher than in 2023.

The filming crew visited wine cellars in different regions, within the framework of its one-week visit to Georgia organized with the support of the US marketing company Colangelo & Partners, which is a contractor company of the Georgian National Wine Agency.
