USAID Georgia: Neither USAID nor any other US agency monitors safety of Georgia's drinking water

USAID Georgia on Friday issued a statement, saying it has been made “aware of misinformation indicating that we have information about the quality of drinking water managed and distributed by Georgia Water and Power.”

In its Facebook post, USAID went on to say that it “in fact has no such information and is not making any advisories on this subject. Neither USAID nor any other agency of the United States Government monitors the safety of Georgia’s drinking water or makes public advisories about its water quality.”
