The United States is looking forward to cooperate with a new team headed by President-Elect Volodymyr Zelensky to achieve the main goal – a strong, democratic, and prosperous Ukraine.

This issue was discussed during a phone conversation between U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and Volodymyr Zelensky, the winner of Ukraine’s presidential election.

In a post on Twitter, Mike Pence wrote: “Spoke to President-Elect Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine today to congratulate him on his victory. US President Donald Trump and I look forward to working with his administration to support a strong, democratic, and prosperous Ukraine”.

As Ukrinform reported, U.S. President Donald Trump congratulated Volodymyr Zelensky on his victory in Ukraine’s presidential elections. In particular, in a phone conversation with Zelensky, the U.S. president expressed his readiness to work with the president-elect and the Ukrainian people in the area of implementing the reforms needed to strengthen democracy, increase prosperity and eliminate corruption in the country.
