UNM's Parulava: We're working on action plan involving civil groups; Gakharia's team withdrew

“The democratic opposition and society are uniting around two main demands: the release of prisoners, an end to repression and terror, and new free elections without the regime,” Lasha Farulava, member of the United National Movement, has stated.

Parulava added that achieving this goal requires concrete action. He also noted that representatives of Gakharia’s party are not involved in the document preparation process.

“We’re working on an action plan for how to reach this goal peacefully. Political forces and civil groups are involved, and we’re preparing a document. This won’t just be a document; it will be a concrete plan for how we move towards our goal. There are political forces that aren’t involved; they decided this themselves and withdrew. I’m referring to Gakharia’s political team; all the rest are participating,” Lasha Parulava declared.
