UNM's Khabeishvili urges forceful removal of Ivanishvili: Confront force with force

“We must remove Ivanishvili by force; otherwise, our efforts will fail. We are compelled to confront force with force,” declared Levan Khabeishvili, Chair of the Political Council of the United National Movement (UNM), during a live broadcast on TV Pirveli.

Khabeishvili emphasised that Bidzina Ivanishvili will not voluntarily step down through demonstrations or protests.

“When will we defeat Bidzina Ivanishvili? Only when we are physically prepared. We must remove Ivanishvili by force; without this, success is unattainable. We have to confront force with force. Once everyone recognises that Ivanishvili will not relinquish power through performances alone—and that we will have to fight against these forces for our country—then we will prevail. I am prepared to harm Khareba (Zviad Kharebashvili, Head of the Special Tasks Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs) and face imprisonment if necessary,” he stated.
