UNM to hold elections in 73 municipalities

The opposition United National Movement (UNM) party will hold elections in 73 municipalities to select chairpersons of regional and city organizations.

The elected people will be members of the newly-staffed UNM Political Board, Levan Khabeishvili, the party chairman announced, saying a working group would be established before April 30 to determine the election date.

According to Khabeishvili, the UNM opened 45 new offices in different cities last month.

Khabeishvili also called on the UNM supporters, “those who want to put a single brick in the struggle against Bidzina Ivanishvili (GD founder),” to cast their ballot.
