UNM member says separate visits not to give legitimacy to GD government

“Separate visits amid illegitimate government in Georgia will not give legitimacy to the Georgian Dream,” said Giorgi Kapanadze, a member of the United National Movement (UNM) party.

Kapanadze remarked on the statement of US Congressman Joe Wilson, who urged OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu to postpone his trip to Tbilisi, Georgia.

According to the UNM member, Joe Wilson is a friend of the Georgian people, and his statement serves Georgia’s interests.

“The Georgian Dream is responsible for swerving from the country’s European path, mass human rights violations, systemic crimes, and elections rigging. The Georgian people know and see everything.

We have illegitimate Georgian Dream and a political crisis, which can be resolved only through the release of political prisoners and provisional, transition administration that is formed via new parliamentary elections,” he said.
